DIFFERENT TYPES OF FINNED TUBE

Continuous Spiral Crimped Fins:

These types of fins are semi-crimped and wrapped under tension around the outside of the base tube. Fins are either tack welded or brazed to the base tube at each end of the tube.

Square / Rectangular Fins

These types of fins are semi-crimped and wrapped under tension around the outside of the base tube. Fins are either tack welded or brazed to the base tube at each end of the tube.

Continuous Spiral G Type Fins

The strip is tension wound into a machined groove over the base tube material. This ensures maximum heat transfer at high temperature.

Wire Wound Finned Tubes

These types of fins are semi-crimped and wrapped under tension around the outside of the base tube. Fins are either tack welded or brazed to the base tube at each end of the tube.

Continuous Spiral L Type Fins

The formation of ā€˜Lā€™ base of the strip under tension gives optimum contact of the ā€˜Lā€™ base on the base to improve the heat transfer efficiency.
