AIR DRYERS MEANS ?
Saturated compressed Air enters to the Air to Air heat exchanger, where it is pre cooled by outgoing cold dry air. Highly effective pre cooler reduces the temperature considerably, and enables to use smaller & economical refrigeration system. Then the pre cooled, relatively low temperature compressed air enters to Air to Refrigerant heat exchanger, where it is cooled down to +3 ℃ (Pressure Dew point). At this temperature, moisture in vapor from condensed to liquid form, and separated from the compressed air by moisture separator and discharged to drain port through automatic drain valve. The cold dry compressed air passes back to Air Heat exchanger, and gain temperature by exchanging heat with incoming warm air. The dry air coming out from the dryer is ready to use for instrumentation and process air applications.
WHY AIR DRYER IS REQUIRED?

The process of air compression concentrates atmospheric contaminants, including water vapor. This raises the dew point of the compressed air relative to free atmospheric air and leads to condensation within pipes as the compressed air cools downstream of the compressor.
Excessive water in compressed air, in either the liquid or vapor phase, can cause a variety of operational problems for users of compressed air. These include freezing of outdoor air lines, corrosion in piping and equipment, malfunctioning of pneumatic process control instruments, fouling of processes and products, and more.
Water vapor is removed from compressed air to prevent condensation from occurring and to prevent moisture from interfering in sensitive industrial processes.
There are 3 forms of water in compressed air
Air-water separators remove liquid water aerosols. They remove up to 99% of the liquid water mist and none of the water vapor. Water in Aerosol or Vapor form is more difficult to remove and requires the use of a Compressed Air Dryer. For every 20°F drop in compressed air temperature, the moisture holding capacity of air is reduced by 50%. Drying prevents liquid water forming downstream where it can contaminate or damage the system causing operating problems, costly maintenance, repairs and product spoilage.

WHAT IS DELPET DRYER?
Delpet Compressed Air Dryers are specially designed for PET Bottle manufacturing process. Compressed air is used to blow the bottles/containers to the desired shape and size.
HOW DOES DELPET DRYER WORKS ?
Delair Refrigeration Dryers operate at high pressure upto 40 bar on the method of cooling the air to near freezing point to remove the moisture and the cold dry air is reheated by incoming air to approximately 10°C below the incoming compressed air temperature at nominal conditions.
The dryer consists of an air drying unit with centrifugal cum demister pad condensate separator and a refrigeration circuit. The refrigeration circuit consists mainly of a compressor, a condenser, a receiver, a vapour liquid accumulator with liquid refrigerant and an evaporator. The air drying unit consists of two kinds of heat exchangers, one is air to air heat exchangers and second is refrigerant to air heat exchangers.

THE HEART OF THE SYSTEM IS THE SPECIAL FOAMED IN, PATENTED HEAT EXCHANGER WHICH MAKES IT OUTPERFORM OTHER DRYERS
The function of the air to air heat exchanger is to lower the load on the refrigerant system and secondly by warming the outgoing cold air pipelines to the required temperature.
The refrigerant to air heat exchanger(s) further cools the air to the required temperature thus condensing the water vapour from the air, which is automatically drained.
